1943 Opel Blitz 3,6-6700А TLF 15 Fire Engine (Germany)

In 1937 the company Opel AG launched the production of the trucks Opel Blitz 3.6-36S which had become the prime heavy duty vehicles of the Wehrmacht by 1941. A total of 82,356 such automobiles were made from 1937 till 1944. In 1940 the 3.6-6700А (Allrad) model was worked out on the base of the Opel Blitz 3.6-36S which was four-wheel drive. Alongside with two leading axles the all-wheel drive Opel Blitz distinguished by 15 cm shortened wheel base and higher clearance. The Opel Blitz 3.6-6700А was brought into circulation in 1940 and till the summer of 1944 there were 24,981 such cars produced altogether. In 1943 the fire engine TLF 15 was built on the base of the all-wheel drive Opel Blitz for maintaining of aerodromes. 320 automobiles of this type were made altogether.
