1937 Mercedes-Benz W 125 750-kg

In 1937 Mercedes-Benz returned to the pinnacle of motor racing with the newly developed W 125 after a disappointing season the previous year. The new Silver Arrow wasted no time in winning its first race, the Grand Prix of Tripoli. That was followed by another seven wins in twelve races and Rudolf Caracciola’s second European title at the end of the season.
