2001 AMG-Mercedes CLK DTM touring car

The AMG-Mercedes team lined up with an updated version of the CLK for the second season of the newly launched German Touring Car Masters (DTM). The new model had been aerodynamically optimized and featured new suspension, an improved chassis and a more powerful V8 engine. In 2001, this car helped Bernd Schneider become the first DTM driver to mount a successful defense of his title.
