1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 came out in 1968 as top-of-the-line model of the W 108/109 luxury series, predecessors of today’s S-Class. The engine and transmission were taken from the 600. This powerful, comfortable long-distance sedan is fitted as standard with automatic transmission, power steering and many more extras – not something that could be taken for granted in the late 1960s.
