1970 Riga-4
In 1970 the plant introduced a new model Riga-4 with 49.9 cm3 engine (which did not necessitate the availability of the license) of 2 hp power. There were some novelties: a high-voltage transformer and wheel shields came into being, the luggage compartment altered, the circuit construction and transmission gears changed, a new rack was mounted and a speedometer drive was from the engine. Above all, 16-inch wheels were installed on the moped fir the first time instead of 19-inch ones. Evidently, that’s why the Riga-4 did not look like so Soviet.
