1958 T-28 "Vladimiretz"

In 1955, the engineering team of Vladimir Tractor Plant had developed a new tractor and provided for its serial production. One year later, as many as ten thousand DT-24 tractors (general-purpose modification and that designed for cotton growing) had been manufactured.

The new updated DT 24 model was launched under T 28 'VLADIMIRETZ' trademark, equipped with high-powered diesel engine (owing to increased fuel feed), and rubber-tyred wheels. Hydraulically driven centrifuge is installed for the purpose of oil purification in the engine lubrication system. The unified hydraulic system with individual control units is implemented on the tractor. In the first halt of 1958, serial production of the new T 28 'VLADIMIRETZ' began.
