The tractor was creeled as a general purpose means for mechanization of agriculture in the 1930s. As a prototype the American «International-15/30» tractor was chosen - one of the best tractors in the world. While developing SHTZ-15/30 tractor, the original design of the overseas prototype had been changed to meet the domestic conditions, standards and materials. SHTZ-15/30 tractor had got a classic layout with a frame carcass. This model was the most widely used machine in the domestic agriculture in the 30-40-s.

APPLICATION FIELD:
to be used for working with two and three-bottom ploughs and other general-purpose farm equipment (including the machines featuring a power take off drivel) as well as for driving stationary machines.
