1953 Panzertrabi

For preliminary preparation of a military seminar in 1953-54, the company VEB Automobilwerk Sachsenring Zwickau made two copies of miniature replicas SPW 152. A steel body with an open roof was installed on the chassis of the Trabant with three axes.
An engine, transmission, wheels, brakes, steering, dashboard, and many other details were borrowed from the standard Trabant cars.

Except the driver and the front passenger, the cargo bay could accommodate up to 8 people. The length was 4.20 m, the width - 1.45 m, the height - 1.50 m. The ramps to overcome ditches were fastened above the rear tandem axle and 20-liter canisters appeared on the body rear wall on the right and on the left.
