1962 Trabant P60
To replace Trabant P50 in 1962 the model P60 (or Trabant 600) came, the release of which lasted until 1964, and of the version Kombi till 1965. In addition to the sedan and wagon, P60 was produced with a van body and a camper.
There almost were no visual changes compared to its predecessor, but P60 changed technically. The new car was equipped with a 2-cylinder 2-stroke engine of 599 cm3 and the power of 17 kW (23 hp). Externally Trabant P50 and P60 can be distinguished only by a slightly different rear. 106,628 cars of Trabant P60 were made all in all, after which they started to produce 601 models.
