Armory company FN (Fabrique d'Armes de Guerre (FN)), founded in 1889, is a pioneer in the production of motorcycles and for many years a leader in the Belgian market. His fame was associated with the use of the transmission shaft from 1903 to 1923, with big success in the race, with travel a long distance, and after 1945 with the success in motocross. Early models had single cylinder engines.
The first motorized model of the company can be considered a 250 cc motorbike, released in 1901.
