The most distinctive feature of the fastest German production car of its time is the rear spoiler, popularly known as the "ducktail". Porsche is a trendsetter in its use of such aerodynamic features. With its minimally equipped interior, this coupe perfectly embodies the equation "more displacement and less weight equal greater power output". The RS 2.7 is the first 911 to be adorned with the "Carrera" name mark, a reference to the classic Carrera Panamericana road race.
