1931 Treibwagen Basel 203

New trams were constantly ordered from 1925 till 1930 because of tram lines network expansion and increasing of passenger traffic flow in Basel.
The series with numbers 173 through 203 appeared in 1931.
Moreover, in 1931 carriage TW-203 with the support of the company Schweizer Industriegesellschaft was delivered to Neuhauser and the BBC firm mounted electric parts on it.
Its high engine power and brakes system reliability made possible to carry up to three trailer cars.
In 1975 the tram car was pensioned off and passed to Tramclub Basel.
Tramclub Basel offered the vehicle for the museum Historama. It has been located here since June, 1994.
