1957 PUCH MS 50

During many years the bicycle was the only transport means for men. The next step became the bicycle assisted by a motor.
A new qualitative vehicle was a moped.
The company Puch successfully entered the market in the 50s introducing the models with the engine displacement of 50 cm3.
These two PUCH MS 50 models displayed in the museum were wide spread and had the power of 2 hp. Dozens of thousands such copies were built in Austria.
Puch is a manufacturing company located in Graz, Austria. The company was founded in 1889 by the industrialist Johann Puch and produced automobiles, bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles. It was a subsidiary of the large Steyr-Daimler-Puch conglomerate.
