1950 Sattler auto

In the 50-ies an engineer Walter SATTLER from Klagenfurter built a small automobile on the base of a standard motor scooter.
The basic concept was to combine the advantages of very expensive at that time four-wheeled automobiles with the advantages of two-wheelers.
The result was a two-wheeler with two side auxiliary wheels, which could be drawn in after the movement began and be pulled out after the vehicle stopped.
The mode of transport was patented and it could be observed in the streets of Klagenfurt for several years.
