Gioachino Colombo developed the “barchetta” version of the A6GCS/53 model which was elegantly refined by Medardo Fantuzzi. Only four chassis were assigned to Pinin Farina who entrusted the job of designing the bodywork to the young designer, Aldo Brovarone. He created a berlinetta that was “extremely compact with large wheels and large exposed exhaust pipes” (as described by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Design) whose aggressive look continues to be admired even today.
