Petrol-engine shunting locomotive Tm 2/2 No 464 CFF 1931 To speed up shunting on short turntables and traversers, in 1915 the Breuer company developed what they called the Locomotor. It had a petrol engine, small wheels and extremely low end-beams. This enabled it to get under the vehicles it had to move and then to lift them. This way. the shunting locomotive increased its own weight and was therefore able to haul greater loads. Breuer Weight 3.8 t 22 kW 4 cylinders petrol engine 15,3 km/h hauling capacity 230 t on level sections restoration by CFF in operation 1931-1965
