1960 Ducati Elite 200

Spanish Ducati motorcycles were versions of the Italian motorcycles. Ducati Elito 200 was very similar to the Italian version, which appeared two years earlier. It was a bike with sporty appearance and characteristics, and became very popular at the time. In 1967, he became known as V5, and in 1970 it was equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. The production ended in 1971.

Ducati 200 Elite is considered to be one of the lightest sporty motorbikes of the 1950-60s. The Italian bike was equipped with a 204 cc one0cylinder engine (camshaft SOHC) and a four-speed gearbox. For the first time the motorcycle was introduced to the public in 1959. In actual fact a 204 cc engine was received by the way of boring of 175 cc aggregate as much as 5 mm. The Ducati 200 Elite develops 18 hp power at 7,500 rpm and may achieve 140 km / h. The motorbike is also completed with a fuel tank of an unusual shape, some clip-on, a couple of mufflers and 18-inch wheels.
