The company Romero Motos was founded by Jesus Romero, a Spanish motorcycle racer and an employee of Bultaco. He was thoroughly versed in a motorcycle design, successfully participated in races, but after a serious accident in 1966 at the training he had to stop racing career.
He worked as a mechanic, a truck driver, a freelance consultant (Montesa), until in 1982 he founded the company Romero Motos in St.Adria de Besos. He started with a small production activity, having produced a total of 86 motorcycles, the engines for which were assembled and adjusted by Jesus Romero himself.
The motorcycles were really competitive and the proof was the fact that 85 of them were sub-champions of Spain, and the model ARM 350 cc with the driver Fernando Gil became a world sub-champion.
