Mavisa is a Catalan motorcycles brand, developed by Mecánica Mavi, SA in Sant Cugat del Vallès between 1953 and 1960. The company, owned by brothers Manuel Vicente and Vila, created one model - 250 Sport in 1958, inspired by BMW. A total of 8 units were made.

The engine designed by Villa took the form of a horizontal two-cylinder two-stroke engine similar to the reliable German BMW with an aluminum cylinder head. 248 cubic cm of volume developed about 14 hp at 6,000 rpm, powered by two independent carburetors Dell'Orto 20 mm, with a compression ratio of 9.5: 1.
The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels through a system of cardans and the four-speed gearbox.
The creators had to spend about two years to develop and test the prototypes to get to the production of more or less reliable travel motorcycle Mavisa.

Model Mavisa Sport 250 cc was presented at Fira de Mostres in Barcelona in 1957.
However, due to lack of resources, the project Mavisa was abandoned in 1960.
