In 1910 this old shunting engine joined the Puebla de Hijar to Alcaniz line, in Teruel. It continued working as a shunting engine in the Clot workshops of Barcelona between 1941 and 1957. Shunting allowed the staff to move the railway vehicles in the stations. When it turned out to be inadequate for the workshop needs, the "Teresita" was used as a fixed boiler to produce steam to the auxiliary uses in the workshops. As well as its size and use, its vertical boiler is also characteristic.
